Item description
Standard type:
Application:
Self-sealing, non-sticky EPR repair tape for the temporary, cold- and heat-proof sealing of tube- and hose lines (incl. radiator- and oil-lines), covering of brake lines, tubes and electrical lines, insulation of electrical connections and cables, bundling of stiff and flexible tubes, as well as the production of temporary O-ring seals. The tape has good UV resistance.
Processing:
Remove intermediate film, breakdown tape around the grease- and dirt-free object in a ring or overlapping spiral pattern, and while under tension (stretched by app. 250%).
Temperature range:
-40°C bis +130°C (Processing: 0 to +35 °C)
Dielectric strength:
35 kV/mm
Type Xtreme conditions:
Application:
Self-sealing silicone repair tape for the temporary, cold- and heat-proof sealing of pipe- and hose lines (incl. radiator- and oil lines), covering of brake lines, tubes and electrical lines, insulation of electrical connections and wire, bundling of stiff and flexible tubes, as well as the production of temporary O-ring seals. The tape has good resistance to UV and chemicals, and is also available in transparent form. It is rot-resistant, hardly flammable, and yet can be removed cleanly and without residue.
Processing:
Remove intermediate film, breakdown tape around the object in a ring or overlapping spiral pattern, and while under tension (stretched by app. 250%). Can also be used on soiled, uneven, greasy or wet surfaces. The tape can even be used under water or in refrigerated warehouses.
Temperature range:
-65°C to max. +260°C (Processing: 0 to +35 °C)
