Activated carbon filters - AK, technically oil-free air

This filter removes all vaporous and gaseous hydrocarbons, oil vapours or odorants. The 2-stage adsorption action provides a large adsorption surface and thus makes for a long life and high economy when used. Stainless steel propping jackets and filter material keep the active carbon firmly in its place and ensure that no active carbon particles migrate to the filtrate.

Activated carbon filters are applied to instrument and control air in the chemical, petro-chemical and pharmaceutical industry, as well as in the food, beverage and process industries, as well as in bottling plants, for packaging machines and generating breathing air and pre-filtration of sterile filters. We recommend the upstream connection of a prefilter and microfilter to increase the service life.
