Safety couplings, NW 10

The couplings of nominal width 10 mm are very common in Germany. The couplings are compatible with Parker-Rectus series 27, 41, 1700 and 1727, TEMA series 1700 and CEJN series 410 and many other manufacturers. The couplings are available in galvanised steel and are coupled by simply plugging in the coupling plug. Decoupling is done by pulling the sleeve on the coupling. Safety couplings acc. to ISO 4414 / EN983 differ from the standard coupling in so far as the coupling plug is first vented during decoupling before it is completely decoupled. Thus a possible occurring recoil effect with a standard coupling can be reliably prevented.
