Swivel clamping cylinder (swivel clamp) SQK (Ø 16-40)

Swivel clamping cylinders or also swivel clamps are used to clamp workpieces pneumatically. When retracting the piston rod first the removed lever arms swivels within the swivel stroke by 90° (left or right, depending on type of cylinder) inside the clamp position and then via the clamp stroke into the retracted position. Extension is done in reverse order. The cylinder must only clamp within the clamping stroke. Clamping during the swivel movement is not allowed. The piston is designed as a magnet piston, which enables a position query with cylinder switches. The main mounting dimensions are identical to the SMC-swivel clamping cylinders of series MKB.
