Thread repair

We offer various options for the repair of metric and imperial threads. If a male thread is torn off or broken off in a female thread, it can often be removed again with a screw extractor from the female threads. With a damaged thread (regardless of female or male threads), they can usually be repaired with a thread file. If the female thread is completely destroyed the last option is the use of thread repair coils / thread inserts (Helicoil) acc. to DIN 8140. For this a larger thread is first cut, in which the correct coil is screwed in, that has the female thread to be repaired on its inner side.
